Today is the homegoing service for Whitney Houston, one of the greatest singers ever, and I want to create a list of my favorite songs by “The Voice.”
I remember my mom and I having a conversation about singers. We were naming female artists who we thought had nice voices, and I said that I don’t think there’s ever been a singer who had a better voice than Whitney Houston. Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys can sing. Yolanda Adams is great. But, no one could touch Whitney. Her voice was strong. It was pure. You could feel the passion.
